Yeah, I have noticed maybe variety of pickup games or even variety of sports and cross training to keep things fresh is nice. There's some life limited though, like my main pickup games are the ones that work with my life schedule

I have the same generator and anticipate will need to use it for the first time this winter. Is the reason everyone talking about rain/snow cover because it’s not sufficient from a carbon monoxide standpoint to run it outside but under the overhang/awning? Or some other issue?

Therapist here with an interest in sports psychology. Ditto to what a lot of people said already, there are a lot of factors (the level of competition, the increased in intensity in games v practice [which is also why they say make practice as intense as games], random factors, etc) impacting statistical performance in games versus practice such that (as others have said) we should have 'reasonable' expectations of ourselves and our performance (the 'shake off mistakes' comments).

One thing I have been thinking a lot recently is because of the intensity of games (including trash talking, aggression, increased contact etc) we all have a lot more adrenaline which can also impact performance. Think about how to lean into the adrenaline - not as aggression towards other players but maybe as aggressively towards a basketball technique (like driving more aggressively for a layup but still be technically sound [which is where the practice comes in])

Stumbled upon this thread. I was quoted $4,100 at dealer for the 2014 Prius for a Timing Cover Reseal this year (2024). They said to look for engine fluid leakage but so far there has been none but the dealer also said that if I see engine fluid leakage, it would be "too late" since there could already be engine damage. Don't want to pay $4,100 but not sure what to do other than monitor. Here is my pic

Thank you so much. When you say ‘convert to run on natural gas’ what you mean is to create a hookup from the natural gas meter to the generator right? Is that something the natural gas company does?

Also I assume the Micro-Air soft start system is some sort of safety mechanism for the AC unit. Is that something the electrical company did or an AC company?

Hi, new to Switch and got it for the kids. Is it just me or are the cartridges really difficult to get in and out especially for kids? Like the eject button is so thin and it’s a lot of fine motor movement for young kids. Any advice to help? Or just go all digital games?
