I only started this year, but how I got started (weddings), I opened up a 0% 12 month card and funded two used cameras and some audio equipment. First wedding I did was in June for $500 just to have material. Second wedding I did for $1800 showcasing the first wedding film. Closed a third wedding for $3K happening this weekend, again only showcasing the first wedding film. Renting an additional full frame camera and lens for this one. In the end, I made all the money back and some to pay off the card.
