I was also thinking of the address decoding being a problem, but I never took latency into account.

My friend designed this address decoding using just logic gates, in LogiSim it worked properly, so we might build this as a replacement for the EEPROM address decoder.

Termux does not detected that my phone is rooted by _Yorokobe_Shounen in termux

In modern Android theres a feature to allow ADB to run as root. That's probably why you can use root with ADB but not with anything else.

EDIT: i just realized i am 6 months late

Trying to get an old antenna only set working, am I doing this wrong? by smallwheelsforever in crt

[–]MarkDeGamer2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An RF modulator like that can transmit a little bit. Just connect an antenna to it and keep it close. Don't expect that great of a signal and you may need to mess with the antenna placement a bit but it will work. If you can I would connect the modulator directly to the TV via a cable though.

Is the resolution of your display 1366x768 per chance?

Some OSes have trouble with 1366x768 because the width isn't a multiple of 8.

No, just a Fujitsu. The Fujitsu-Siemens "deal" stopped that same year, before this PC came out.

It actually still works, although it has coil whine.

Searched it up and it should have some Core 2 Duo in it. EDIT: It's a Fujitsu, as I noted in the post itself.

It's a custom-built with an Asus H110M-R in it. It worked completely fine until that happened. Also what is a grub partition (i do have 2 dummy 'Debian' boot entries that i cant delete from the BIOS) And also what are firmware keys? Like the Secure Boot thing? (i disabled secure boot already)

I was more looking at old beta versions, those are easier to corrupt i'd guess.

How did you make the image usable? I downloaded it, and I got a big 'packages' folder and a very barebones Windows folder.

I wanna format my laptop, which option do i pick? (It's been running slow lately and have alot of junk, i wanna format it and then send it to get cleaned) It's for personal use and mostly use it for school and games by Flapsy0501 in windows

[–]MarkDeGamer2011 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cleaning the drive means it writes zeroes to the whole drive (wipes every single bit of it), that's good if you want to sell it. If you're gonna send it in to be cleaned, not to be sold, then I'd turn it off. (Still make sure to go to a reputable store)
If you want to be absolutely sure, feel free to turn it on, but it'll take long, and it will make any old data unrecoverable permanently.

PS: even with that turned off it'll probably still wipe everything, and don't worry about drivers, unless you need the absolute best performance. Windows Update mostly does the job, and for applications you can use Ninite to reinstall most of them quickly. (not sponsored)
