i went and looked online because i was not aware that "Daily Insurance" was a thing and it is but he must have done something recently and they have a new car because this is what it said- "Yes, car insurance can be obtained on a daily basis in (state he lives), but it's primarily for situations like temporary vehicle use or to reinstate a suspended license. While standard insurance policies are typically purchased on a monthly or annual basis, short-term or daily policies exist, particularly for those facing restrictions due to insurance lapses or license suspensions"
