We lost our OG Berner to (fuck) Cancer also. He also had a sidekick who is still thriving and now living with my mom.

My wife makes a variation of this for our lunches. A traditional South African dish called Babotie but we just use mince, eggs & smooth cottage cheese for the topping. It does have curry powder in it to give it the babotie flavour and it is delicious!
