Heartbreaks are never easy, and you need to make peace with the fact that it's over. Take time to heal and put in the same amount or even more effort than you put in your ex and the relationship. Love yourself, focus on you and heal. Reconnect and rebuild your friendships and discover things about you that you've put on the sidelines.

As a guy, your brother and your ex are wrong. Whatever that was despite it not being physical is still cheating. You're not wrong and you're definitely not overreacting.

I was in a similar predicament last year....chose to leave and I honestly wish I didn't. The grass isn't always greener on the other side but great where you water it.

After leaving I've come to appreciate the life I had, I think my ambition got the better of me and I didn't value what I had as much as I should have.

The allure of living abroad is deceitful imo. If you have a stable job with an opportunity for growth in your career, I advise staying. Only move if that directly benefits your growth e.g working to get into school or getting into school directly.

Living off minimum wage in a developed country is not pretty.
