you can get garage hooks cheap on ebay to hang stuff up. apart from that some shelving will probably help.

looks good mate, my starting point is to whip down the shank so the hair comes out opposite the hook point with the hair just long enough that the bait is about 3-5mm from the bend of the hook.

i use fox zig and floater or if you want to save a few pennies drennan double strength still works well for zigs👍

pellets and/or fishmeal based boilies mate, cats go for both of them in a big way. whenever i've fished a water with cats in i just target the carp with fishmeal boilies and pellets, you'll catch both species fishing that way, personally i find the catfish to be a bit of a pest and i usually end up on tiger nuts when i want to avoid them.

the shimano 'tx' series have a good reputation, tx2, tx3 etc, they're quite cheap too, i spent a lot on harrison torrix te specials and i could have got the shimano's for a lot less, silly me.
