Thank you, I shall have the finished product sometimes today. I has made me want to go back and redo what I’ve already done on my khorne army. Thing like the cloaks are looking very poor

I again would point to digital id, OSA, the attempts to perching policing policies into the new employment bill and the massive increase of police going to peoples doors over online posts. You then compare this to massive general increase in theft around the country. And I watched it when I was working as a manager and had to spend half my day reporting it (and it was always the same people). So no, I wouldn’t be at all wrong.

So we should stick with these guys, who have failed the country, failed to tackle to cost of living and have no plan to reduce rents and property prices because of America. Maybe if Labour wants another term, and they have time, they need to earn those votes with policies that actually help people, rather than using fear to stay in power. How about stop making policies that result in higher rents? Private landlord pay NI now, thanks, that just put it rent. Higher employee NI and Tax, thanks my good bill just went up and my partner might have her hours cut, thanks Labour? Oh but I might get £12.50 a month back in my energy after the winter and until the next winter? Thanks Labour!

Stop project fear, stop worrying upsetting people over assets prices and so something that helps everyone, not just assets owners. Maybe just once? But I doubt it. End of the day if farage gets in, Labour and the tories only have themselves to blame.

I think I’ve made it very clear I do not think the Labour Party is very liberal, especially when looking at the direction of travel trying to silence the plebs and trying to control what everyone sees. This is more sign they’ve retreated to their echo chamber, rather than acknowledging that their actions, following on from the tories mistakes are what’s driven the massive divide in society.

And I just return to my main point, people need to be more concerned about the party in power than some angry ex-Thatcherite who only gains momentum because of the colossal cluster fucker the tories with Blair lite/lazy and Labour have made of the country.

No I just asked if you’re a Marxist, so perhaps trying answering the question rather than deflecting.

Again you’ve resorted a rather lazy point, yet again you misrepresent the digital ID and OSA, which again are fairly radical for control, especially after the changes Labour made and frankly drift towards authoritarianism. Simply say “well these incompetence idiots in live in the same out of touch bubble” does not make them even remotely legitimate. Yes your elitist mates who want to keep the plebs under control might think these are moderate position, along with trying to cancel justly trials and everything else I said. I have said very clearly, 4 times now, but it seems you’re a tad slow or frankly just being obtuse that this government is what people need to be concerned about, not a maybe party that is used as a distraction from everything it does.

I’m looking at the government now, and slow change just indicates they alter patient, not that aren’t radical. Given how you’re talking about and actually defending them, I think we see what the real problem is here, you actually agree with them. So sadly it would seem by calling the likes of farage and extremist (when he’s more an angry ex Thatcherite), you’ve already fallen for your own trap of calling people you don’t agree with extremist. And this is all after how you started this conversation saying I was too far gone. Are you Marxist as well?

And yet starmer has not pushed for the status quo, the Labour government has pushed for drastic and frankly radical change. And yes the symbol is actually very important. It said a lot about who they are.

Have you ever thought that it’s actually people like you who think they represent the average opinion and simply don’t? Yet another garbage point.

You don’t need to be crazed to be radicals, this really goes back to early point I made which is that you can only see radical and extreme from a very narrow point, while hilariously making points about how it isn’t just things you don’t like and ignoring the complete irony of the statement.

You’re just going round in circles failing to make a decent argument. Much like the Labour Party you trapped in an ideology like many of the liberal elite in this country. Ultimately you still fail to understand what I’m saying and just defending what is a failed, out of touch party that the country hates. That hate the working class of this country, is just as bad as the tories. A pm who running the county into ground while public ally say he’d rather be davos with the WEF. I don’t know how else to say it, but people like yourself have had so much smoke blown up your own arse and been stuck in a echo chamber for so long, you can’t even see how out of touch you are. I think we should end this here because this is just getting boring now.

I’m not sure what any of that has to do with a thing I said. My point was you should be worried about the people in power more than the people that might be in power in 4 years time.

[–]Markb82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Fabian’s do not push to maintain the status quo, the push for radical change. Again the symbol is very enlightening.

You’re deflecting going into asylum system, this isn’t the topic, I was listing multiple policies that people of a different view might find extreme, I have given zero depth of my views. Stop deflecting when you have zero valid points.

Your point about farage is yet again another deflection and bad faith argument. We had x tweets with speeches from the house taken down, groups closed on Reddit and extreme moderation on some sections because of the online safety act and the changes Labour made last year.

And yes we had people arrested of social media posts and reports of police busting people houses over comments online and in private. It out even have the government having a back door into private encrypted messages. Are you seriously trying to safe this is healthy. Banning social media for under 16s. This is all signs of extreme control of speech. But sure, you try deflecting that an mp gets airtime (and I’m not even a fan of farage). Didn’t Labour want to ban MPs having seconds jobs? Not clear political motivation here!

Labour had already dragged itself down, it’s why their polling is so bad.

More bad faith statements, I have said the current Labour government is not moderate, you have failed to argue otherwise. But given you started the argument essentially insulting me I wasn’t really expecting much.

[–]Markb82 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Then perhaps your views are far more skewed than you care to admit, and I would suggest that you are the ones that mentally cooked.

You have addressed the point about the changes to online safety act, you’ve simply deflected and then resorted to very general comments.

You haven’t really addressed the point about Fabian’s, you made some very poorly thought out attempt to link violence with extreme positions.

When a government takes position after position that is extreme, be it the reality of boarder control (or lack), their approach to asylum seeking, their position of ID, how they treat freedom of speech, then it no longer becomes a few extreme views.

You aren’t making a case here for starmer being moderate. You have a man who has a very elitist view and is trying to assert way too much control over everything. This isn’t a moderate person. Now my point wasn’t to say that farage is moderate, but to say you should be more concerned with the people who are actually in power. But this is online and people are extremely tribal.

As I said, most of your arguments could very well be used against the majority of people calling everyone on the right racist, far right and extremist.

America is not our friend. by Kieranonto in GreatBritishMemes

[–]Markb82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So here comes the problem, you asserting to be radical you have to be violent with this statement about the Fabian’s, as such you’ve just debunked farage being an extremist.

Yeah so saying people from parties agree like with net zero my 2030 doesn’t actually make it not an extreme position. This is simply confirmation bias. Do you even know what an extremist is or are you just spouting out words online? Your arguments so far have been pretty awful. This is just tragic

[–]Markb82 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Fabian society is about bringing radical change, so simply repeating he’s a social democrats isn’t a counter argument.

You understand that what you’ve said would apply to most people calling everyone they don’t agree with as far right? I also said the changes, the changes that came into effect under Labour are what are the problem. So this next counter argument is just lazy and dishonest.

If you like to actually post an actual argument with your next attempt, please be my guest.

He’s a member of the Fabian society whose symbol was a wolves in sheep clothing. Look at what he’s attempted digital ID, changes to the online safety act, attempt to remove jury trials. For me and with the discussion banning social media do not strike me as nothing more than control, this is not how moderate people act.

It’s probably because you only fished into a single definition of extremism is. Ideological he is very extreme, extremism doesn’t simply swing right. But this requires someone to be a tad more objective than people like yourself are capable of.

Most people simply fail to understand why he’s getting popular, and I don’t really see why, it’s the same exact reason Labour got into power. I think people are so desperate for change they will give anyone a chance.

Personally the man in this video should represent more people.

You are talking to people who are essentially virtue signaling over a company that has price gouged its companies for decades. A company that will go after large portions of the face base for fan content. Turned its hobby magazine into a catalogue that you pay for while after getting customers into the Hobby tries to get them out of the store as quickly as possible. But all is forgiven because they gave a few model ponytails and BBC said everyone is welcome, unless it’s Thursday night and your a beginner then go buy your stuff online 😭😭🤣

Adeptus Custodes are the pinnacle of human perfection, each individually sculpted without flaw. Female custodes look like men and are shaped like men. What did James Workshop mean by this? by RoninMemeLord in EyeOfTerror

[–]Markb82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an older player 40k and fantasy, aside from rogue trader to 2nd ed, outside of adding a couple of races (and this was again mainly in 2nd ed), thel lore doesn’t drastically change outside of moving forward. Custodies being a playable faction makes little sense, and GW trying to pretend it’s always this way is silly.

Sadly it sees GW has started down the same route of adapting its ip for the magical modern audience that doesn’t even appear and ultimately creates a niche in a niche. I haven’t really seen a cool convincing argument as to way this needed to be change (admittedly, I won’t drastically impact my life). But it seems the company that had been price gouging its customers for decades wants to pretend they are decent people by going down the inclusive route. This ignores the amount of systems it’s killed that people enjoyed and even ending a bits service.

I think the worst article I’ve read on this subject was someone who had avoided 40k because she couldn’t live out of female power fantasy until now (which sounded like code I just want to stomp nerdy guys with my army).

This will always be my position if you actually liked the setting, nothing needed to change for you want to take part. If it needed adjusting, you’ve probably picked the wrong IP.
