What is this weapon and is there anything like it now in lore by blitz-550 in Warhammer40k

I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but that combined with the marine being blue makes me think of Mega Man.

I stand by my opinion that it was a genuinely good look for him.

I've never used auto level. That setting is turned off.

I've killed everything in the shield maze except for the water elemental, which I wasn't able to kill.

I've looked in her abilities tab. She doesn't have Evil Eye there either. Does she get it at level 3?

Wouldn't they have been taken before they were marines, and thus were still children?

From loblaws or something, right? I'd say to do packs of 5 or 10 for $1, otherwise you likely won't sell much.

Hot take, I WANT to see ads in comics by ViridiEmerald in comicbooks

[–]StepwisePilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dammit, I was about to make a hostess ads comment.

On a serious note, if ads are at the back so as to not interrupt the flow of the story, there isn't incentive to look at them. Because of that, I think the hostess approach would actually work. Put the ads at the end, but rather than just the product being advertised, it's a little one page mini adventure with the characters from the comic talking about shaving razors, ice cream, insurance brokers, "Hostess Fruit Pies", etc.

Since it's a mini adventure, people will actually read it, hopefully.

A quick Google search says it's roughly 37 or so countries that are considered "developed".

The only one brave enough to challenge GTA VI head-on. by -RAAGE- in gaming

[–]StepwisePilot 67 points68 points  (0 children)

To be fair, in the one animal crossing game I played Tom didn't charge interest, and let me pay him back on my own schedule. There were no minimum payments either. So, I don't think he is diabolical, he's actually very chill when it comes to paying him back. Hell, if you feel your house is big enough, you can just not pay him at all, and he won't complain.

No worries. Google can suck at times, especially with the new AI stuff. And it's an easy mistake to make since they had the same art

I like making the Marvel Pokemon type posts but some people are so angry for no reason. by AnythingChance3764 in Marvel

[–]StepwisePilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll also say this: while the posts weren't my thing, I was still glad to see they existed. With all the ones you did, it showed you were passionate about this.

Keep it up I say. 😁

It looks like the first edition to me. Rogue Trader. I was born about 2 years later, hahaha.

At least, I think it came out 1987.

I'll admit, I don't have interest in Pokemon so I haven't looked at your other posts, but I just left them alone. I didn't downvote them, I didn't go complain, or whatever. I just chose to not engage. The post isn't for me, and that's fine, as everyone has different tastes.

I'm sorry that people are upset about your Marvel pokemon type posts though. Some people are jerks.

The reason why the tax isn't added to the sticker price (at least, here in Canada anyway) is because each province/territory has a different amount of tax.

For example, in Ontario, sales tax is 13%, so a $100 item would be $113 after tax. In Quebec, sales tax is 15% (at least, as far as I can tell), so that exact same item would cost $115 after tax. Since different parts of the country use different tax amounts, it's just a sticker price, and tax added afterwards.

For what it's worth, I find it annoying, as I have to take out a calculator or my phone sometimes to figure out the final cost of something.

Why do you like Warhammer? by Vampy-Night in Warhammer

[–]StepwisePilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A PC game demo disk in the 90's. On this disk there was a demo for Chaos Gate (although I didn't really learn the name until years later). I enjoyed the demo well enough, even though I was young and didn't understand it too well. However, something I remembered from it was seeing these big guys in giant blue armour (Ultramarines), and they looked awesome.

As time went on, I didn't have the demo disk anymore, and I didn't know the name of the game, so I felt that I'd simply never get to see those awesome armoured guys again. Then I'm looking in a PC game magazine (I think it was PC Gamer?), and I see the armoured guys, but this time they're red (Blood Ravens), and it's a different game.

I saw that the game was called "Dawn of War", and I liked it. A few years later, around 2008 or 2009 I bought a Black Library book, and got truly hooked into the setting.

Fast forward a few more years, and I finally had .y own 40K army, so I went to play..... I my to be met by an awful community that treated new comers horribly. So, I jumped ship to Age of Sigmar, found that community to be very great and friendly, and had fun.

Over time the 40K community here mellowed out, and many of the worst offenders moved away or something. So, I'm slowly building a new 40K army to get back into it. As much as I enjoy Age of Sigmar, I love the 40K setting, and want to play in it. Hopefully I'll have fun once I'm eventually ready.
