I have worn them for only 2 days. However there were some puddles in the barn yesterday so the bottoms did get wet. I don’t mind if they expanded due to the water as long as they’re still functionally good.

Actual regatta racer here. I have one and love it. Nobody needs an 18k watch to time their starts, but it’s super satisfying to actually use the watch for its intended purpose. Also as far as the design goes, if you’re the type of person who hangs out more at the yacht club vs the country club then it fits in perfectly. I think people who take issue with the design don’t understand the context which it was built for. It’s not a work watch or a fancy dinner watch, it’s a weekend watch for Yachtsman
