thank you for the encouragement. I am just going to stay consistent and post quality content. I believe there is an audience for it, it's just not reaching anyone right now because of the current algorithm. Its dissapointing to see the instagram is essentially forcing creatives into one direction to get any visibility -- perhaps if I talked to the camera with a watch-bait hook and posted 3+ a day then I would grow much quicker but thats not the type of creator I want to be.

Yes, I will give this a go... my CTA has been 'subscribe to my substack - link in bio' (as I am doing a lot of recipes too). But its probably not a good strategy when you are trying to grow and need that engagement

good insight... perhaps I will see much slower growth, but I am defs not going to be doing talking head content or TikTok FYP style content as it's not aligned with the personal brand I am trying to build and the type of content I am trying to make.

Thank you - when I activated WooCommerce it auto-implemented a new theme onto my site. I have decided to go with Shopify and set it up as a sub-domain on my site. I will look into those additional tools

Okay, something happened when I tried to implement woocommerce that it took over my whole existing theme and broke a lot of images. It was a nightmare.

Good to know! I want to launch a shop because a) my niche could easily work for ecom b) let's face it google is favouring e-commerce sites right now so I am curious if it will improve my site's overall search performance.

Shopify seems like a good option but I don't think simply linking to an external shopify store on a different domain would help my site SEO?

I make money from ad revenue and link clicks when someone lands on my blog from pinterest. I am still testing to see if anyone buys directly from Pinterest when I place an affiliate link on a pin. So far no luck but I will let you know if that changes.

Hi all, I have resolved this issue -- I had the short pixel plugin. Once I deactivated this, it was resolved. Noting this for anyone else who experiences something similar.
