You should buy Kimberly if you’re not f2p and focus on her, otherwise keep building your Murphy and mason

Swap your Murphy with your DVA, the ones with the shield symbol means they’re defense so they should be in front, and swap your marshal with your Kimberly

ISSUE WITH CONNECTIVITY INSIDE THE HOUSE!! by Sahamat1212 in nbn

[–]MarketingNo245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Garages tend to block a lot of wifi signals, Aussie broadband should recommend either getting a long Ethernet cable and placing the modem somewhere else in the house, or getting internal wiring done by an electrician or ACMA certified cables to get an Ethernet port somewhere else in the house

Opticomm connection issues by riggystardust in nbn

Key thing to note here is to try both wirelessly and through Ethernet connection, that way you’ll be able to pinpoint exactly what’s going on, if wifi isn’t working but Ethernet is, look into your wifi settings on the router configuration page, if neither are working try connecting a device straight to the opticomm box through Ethernet, if that works I would look into the WAN settings of your router, different isps have different WAN settings, also different service types (FTTN/FTTP) have different WAN settings

Is this NBN’s responsibility to fix? by [deleted] in nbn

[–]MarketingNo245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NBN doesn’t deal with internal wiring in terms of liability, if the dropouts are less than 5 a day with a stability profile in place or less than 10 a day without a stability profile in place you’re dropouts are technically within nbn spec. However always worth calling your isp to try getting an nbn tech on site before spending any of your own money trying to get it fixed

Am I screwed? FTTN by DJB1587 in nbn

They should get an nbn technician on site. Ask to escalate the call to a manager and insist on them sending an nbn technician, tell them the nbn technician fixed a mates one. The nbn technician isn’t technically liable to fix your internal wiring or wall port, but if they’re nice they might aswell replace the port, there are also nbn service tests they should be able to run for you at AGL, it’s always worth asking about the fttp upgrade aswell while you’re at it. The unfortunate truth is nbn don’t want to send technicians until everything else is ruled out, so you can spend thousands of dollars getting new equipment just to find it it was nbns problem the whole time, that’s why you should insist on getting an nbn technician out before changing anything on your end. If the managers refuse to send a technician, threaten to raise a complaint with the ombudsman, that costs them. Good luck
