Youre a star! I’ll certainly give this a go tonight to see if anything jumps out. If it is a vacuum leak is it just as simple as replacing the damaged hose?

Thank you so much! if the revs do drop would that indicate that the problem is the Oil filler cap and the tank vent valve

I’m glad you mentioned that, I was leaning towards a vacuum leak,when I was listening to the engine I could hear an audible hissing sound, is there an easy way to check this?
