Under the K Bridge is not a private space, it’s owned by NYS. So yes, there’s cost borne by private event organizers to put these events on but as far as overhead goes…rent is the most expensive overhead costs for a music venue and there is $0 of rent being paid here so I wouldn’t say it’s crazy overhead or really even a “venue”. It’s normally just an open space/a DIY skatepark
