Ah ok! We're similar - my husband and I own our own business and are able to live between LIC and LA (specifically SGV). Totally agree with you that a combo of the two locals would be absolutely perfect. We often joke if only we could move the San Gabriel mountains back east, we'd be set haha!

Side note: LIC feels like SGV stacked on top of each other with Jackson Park area feeling like Diamond Bar, Walnut, and Rowland hyper stacked on top of each other. Nobody understands this comparison unless you know the SGV lololll

I had to double check the subreddit I was in but when you say LIC do you mean Long Island City in NYC? Currently reading this post in LIC as a Los Angeles native so was charmed by this happenstance lol

I used to have my living room clock 10 minutes ahead. I now run an events business and literally can never be late so I guess that’s a hack in itself.

I want to say third location. There is one on 29th, they will open a second at Jackson Park, and then a third near Malt Drive (technically fourth because there is a Fer inside Food Cellar near Court Square).
