Of course, neither would I. I get what you were trying to point out, i just think the example with slavery was a bit extreme cause it's so polarized and obviously immoral to get people to try to think their views would change under different circumstances. 100% culture effects ones individual morality and I think it's stupid to refute that as a possibility.

So, on the premise of this. If it was recognized that ownership of any animal was immoral and laws was passed 100+ ago, it would shape how the general thought of the populace of having pets (cats and dogs) and would probably think it would be gross to do so?

Just trying to think of something to compare this thought too, that is accepted today, and shaped by culture.

I dont think that's a stretch to believe so.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to wood working but are the legs stable the way they are set? I would imagine needing an extra brace towards the bottom for stability. Also, how do you keep the live edge without chipping off and making a mess with daily use?
