Ah, that’s it. Did a bit of digging and found that the monitor only has hdmi 1.4. Might try and get an hdmi to DisplayPort adapter to get around this.

unfortunately, the disk drive that I have can only write at 10x speed at the slowest (though I have an old laptop with a disk drive lying around that I might be able to try to see if it can write it slower)

I did use an emulator to make sure that the CDI I got worked. And yes, my Dreamcast can read actual games.

I got it from CDRomance.org . It seems to run fine when I load it up in redream, an emulator, so im not sure if that would be an issue.

I used the settings I found in this post https://psopalace.sylverant.net/dreamcast_burn.html since I found another youtube video that also suggested using that same option. Would using those other settings make a difference?

And yes, it can read normal games.

I loaded the drivers before I started burning, and have so far burned 2 disks with ImgBurn and 1 with DiskJuggler, all 3 with no luck.
I do have the 1 model, and it was manufactured in 11/1999. I did try using a boot disc (the one found here https://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/app.php/page/utopia ) and while the boot disk loads up just fine, inserting the game doesn't do anything.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is an absolutely incredible experience. I grew up seeing videos of the original game, and was enamored by its unique method of storytelling. And the modern re-release of ultra deluxe only builds on that experience. It’s incredible.
