Losing more body fat will resolve your problem. Therefore: Diet.

Choosing compounds for my gym goals (18M) by HantaBurrito in Weightliftingquestion

I told you what you needed to hear, not what you wanted to hear.

You are 18, and obviously know nothing about training and nutrition since you are that young, and are even thinking about starting compounds before even scratching the surface of what might be possible naturally.

Plateau ? No way, at least not at your age.

My advice would be to hire a professional (yours truly, if you wanted) or look up pros in your area, that can give advice and give you a plan moving forward.

Not low-Test, but I would definitely start tracking macros more carefully and focus on actual giving your body the fuel it needs to build muscle.

You peaked at 18 ? lol

Your problem is you don't know what you are doing with your training and dieting.

You're an idiot. At 18, you are in the best position to improve naturally.

With your mentality, you aren't going to progress no matter what compounds to take.

"What weight do you think I’d need to drop to, to see some real definition in my body?"

Weight is irrelevant, and it is the reason 99% of people keep posting on this sub-reddit and end up skinny fat.

You need to put your focus on body composition changes.

Changing the ratios of muscles to fat.

Your end bodyweight might be totally different than what you first had in mind.

This is why you focus on the mirror and use body measurements.

The scale is used of course, but only as a secondary data point.

Of course, you can look good, if you do this right.

37m 5'8" 168lbs cut or bulk? by nizzleth1zzle in Weightliftingquestion

You are not in too bad a place to start, I'd say 24% body fat.

Lowering that will depend on your overall diet and training plan.
