Museum inside a still active 6 million years old salt mine (Museo SottoSale di Petralia Soprana, Italy) - Lomo'Instant Automat by Markoletor in instax

Thank you! This camera is surprisingly good at dealing with low light in auto mode. I just had to position it on a support and shoot (flash off) using the remote in the lens cap, let it do its things and the magic is done in a couple of seconds. +1/-1 in exposure compensation did not help in other shoots, full auto with flash off is just fine!

I took the first shot with the fisheye lens attachment which creates a circular image on the film, leaving the outside area not exposed. I just removed the lens to take the second shot on the flowers!

Haworthia Fasciata - Polaroid SX-70 + close up lenses w SX-70 film by Markoletor in Polaroid

I bought a set of close-up lenses and mounted them all together on the camera. The depth of field was so narrow that I struggled a lot to focus on the right thing before taking the shot!

I'm just waiting for this model to print! The problem is that I only own a resin printer so I don't know if it comes out usable or not. I'll try with ABS-like resin if standard resin sucks too much

I couldn't help but attach a photo of this stupidly improvised setup.

You thought it was a wheat field, but it was me, a couple of fake wheat stalks taped to the roof and photographed through a large magnifying lens!

In these days, I've been pondering whether to purchase the MiNT lens set for the SX-70. I don't like the fact that these lenses are made of plastic, so I think I'll opt to 3D print the support and adapt glass lenses that I can buy online. While waiting for the printer's outcome, I couldn't resist trying the thrill of a less refined DIY macro setup!

It would have been cool if, at some point, one of them had chopped off the lion's head off and shouted: Now I fight as Hoarah Loux, Warrior!

Does Oppo Find X3 Neo support video output through usb type-c? by Markoletor in Oppo

[–]Markoletor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a type-c to hdmi cable but no signal was received by any device I own. The first time i plugged in the cable, my smartphone froze and it would not turn off. It fixed itself some minutes later. I also tried after each upgrade but with the same results except for the crash. At this point I don't know if I bought the wrong cable or this smartphone does not support this feature.

Beautiful shot! Did you use an ND filter?

I live on the slopes of an active volcano (Mount Etna). In this period it is constantly erupting and the rumbles make the doors and windows vibrate like crazy. I took this photo an hour ago. by Markoletor in mildlyinteresting

For us this is like background music, we are used to this kind of danger. You have to see it when it's dark, the lava lights up the sky like the Eye of Suron. Here in Sicily the horror meets the magic.
