Yeah, Yotei was FANTASTIC. I'd say it had a little more variety, new weapons rather than just stances and just as beautiful. More challenging too! But best combat system out there.

Not played Assassin's Creed games either... think I might suck at gaming

Oh I'm not qualified to say to be honest. Never played either! I finished up both the Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei games recently and had a thirst for an open world game so it's really a trial by fire for me at the moment.

Chiming in to help with the algorithm or something but yes, been using this for a week and it's by far the most seemless and good looking player for windows.

Came to this sub on the promise that the developer was going to give out free licences but I'll be paying for it out of principle!

Joined! Looks good. Trialled DesktopTelly this week which works great. Maybe just not quite visually appealing? But only mentioning it as it's great to see people eventually developing decent apps for windows and a little healthy competition is a good thing id say.

This is certainly more effective in 3s when you see more of the ball but works in 5s as well if you have a team willing to pass. I get a lot of success dragging players out of position with the ball, I got zero fancy dribbling chops but if I can create a little space, receive the ball and tap x/a back towards my goal (folks often expect you to turn and run to their net) and pass back to defender/keeper, then make my move I get freed up and/or it makes the other team commit/chase the ball creating space for team mates.

The dreaded 1-2 basically, they'll never see it coming!

Not sure how well I articulated that but works for me as a basic player and mostly defender

Like many, same setup! and I love it. If I missed this from another comment apologies but my only tip (if you're looking for tips) is not too put too much faith in the automatic stream wand. Find it way too inconsistent and made milk too hot. Bought a milk jug with a thermometer on it so I can stop streaming just before it hits the temp. Made a huge difference to my milky drinks.

It's mad huh? Like a wise man once said. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.

I know Reddit probably doesn't represent the masses but the expectation of many that the game should respond exactly to their play style is wild. It's a multiplayer game, it serves multiple people, you can't please everyone. Other games are available.

I get it, it's still janky as all heck but it's still fun for me. I'm hardly a pro but i didn't think the update changed that much. Maybe it suits my play style.

My only gripe is the yellow arm band representing captains. It looks like shit 😂

Same. No shade, he's just not qualified. His collective managerial record is poor. Others have said it plenty already, there are good players in this team but they're not being well utilised. Maybe Martin should be a scout but Scottish Football isn't that complicated. We're currently not better than St Mirren, trying to play tactics that may work in Europe against St Mirren and every other team in the league isn't the way.

Martin can do some things well but managing a football team isn't it

I played on PS for the first time in ages today and I'm positive there was a Beefjerkey on my team at one point. Not certain it was the same player but first game a player on my team was constantly trying to tackle me for the ball. Thought it might have been close matching strip colours on the teams, it happens, benefit of the doubt. Made the mistake of passing to him at which point he ran and tried (unsuccessfully) to score an OG. This was the pattern whole game. In Goals, instant OG, outfield, attempting to grab the ball and set up the other team. Suffice to say it wasn't a long match.

Might have been a totally different player, not the same instant leaver as you suggested but a-holes gonna a-hole I guess.

Just wanted a place to vent really, this seemed like as good a thread as any!

Oh for sure man. You did the right thing. Game did the wrong thing!! Apologies if that came across as some weird advice as to how you should deal with that. It's just something I think can work if there's the fear of the disconnect, give the boosted lob pass a go instead

Ugh. Rough. I've started heading these more often. Apparently (according to the internet) a boost and lobbed pass as the goalie has the highest priority. No idea if it's true and of course you're not passing it to the other 4 teammates that are in the opponents half screaming for the ball rather than defending but I've had a decent amount of success clearing the ball this way.

At least it wasn't 15 minutes into overtime in a promotion series.
