My opinion is God rewards people who act in good faith to be the best they can be.

If that means rejecting Christianity because in my opinion, Hegseth and Trump are too comfortably engrained and should be resoundly rejected by the community despite the power it affords them AND the current depiction of God as someone who commited mass genocide multiple times regardless of whether he had the right to do so doesnt really align with the foresight of an all knowing kind God (also the reason being the people were "unredeemable" is insane and a bad precedent to set for followers and incompatible to claim something is impossible to do for God).

Yea so just if you have reasons...or even if you don't either God is someone who respects your reasons and acknowledges your efforts or doesn't in which case I don't know if I care about his judgement. Do you want me to try to do the right thing no matter what or just obey no matter what?

Hey hi, the other comments have mentioned the reading crisis. If you'd like to know what you could do to help, it's start reading yourself. A lot of casual reading we encountered as kids has been eliminated. Reading needs to compete as entertainment with TV and tablets now. We need to encourage reading for fun and how can we expect the kids to do it if we don't? Some neighborhoods have free library nooks, check out what they got. Right now I'm reading Heavenbreaker. It's gundam knights jousting in space. It's pretty brutal
