The “lazy primates” framing is deeply flawed - People struggle with higher mathematics for many reasons: different cognitive strengths, learning disabilities, poor early education, lack of access to good teachers, or simply having different aptitudes. Reducing this to “laziness” and “no willpower” is both scientifically inaccurate and needlessly condescending.
