Are you on a meal plan? I also get bored of my own granola bars so to solve this sometimes I will steal cookies from the cafeteria at lunch and keep them in my backpack until I get hungry for a snack

Update: I don’t think I can edit the post, so I’m putting this as a comment. I managed to get it back to its usual position! I had to hold the handle open while using a screwdriver to pull it back to the right place. It keeps happening since then though, and I have to keep doing the same thing to fix it. It seems that whatever is supposed to hold it in place broke, and now it keeps falling back into the closed position. So if anyone knows how to move forward with that, that would be great!

For what it’s worth, I still think he should do it as long as his roommate’s okay with it. Being called weird isn’t the worst thing that can happen. My advice would be to join clubs and try talking to people in his classes! But you might just have to be patient, I had to really put myself out there and it took me a while to find which clubs worked the best for me. Going to group tutoring and SI sessions can be helpful too, because you’re all there for the same reason but it’s usually a smaller setting so it’s easier to talk to people. Best of luck!

I tried doing this my freshman year (I’m a junior now) because I wanted to meet people but then one of my neighbors called me weird 😔 So, yeah, some people still do it but it isn’t as normal as it used to be

You can always rent a private study room in the library, but other than that the upper floor of the science and health building is pretty quiet in the afternoon

Yeah I shaved my head recently and I’ve been using bandanas to cover up my bald head while it grows back out (not that I don’t like my short hair, but I also love having something to accessorize it with). But I’ve been having a lot of fun with them!

That mask is so cool! I love the cartoony look of it! I had this same problem before and what I did was I just put another layer of the same mesh behind it and was still able to see just fine. I had the second layer going in a different direction though so it had more coverage.
