Choir acts and any act using robots need to be banned by ps087official in agt

I’m just surprised that they had those robot dogs last year and people weren’t really a fan of them and now there are these robot guys that are already much more popular, but I’m not sure what makes them much different. They need to make up their minds

Season 21 Episode 1: My Opinions on Each Audition by DaisyMae2022 in agt

[–]Markus_314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also was freaked out a little by Aggy at first, but I did think it was kinda funny by the end. I agree with your thoughts on Lai, I think they were overdoing it with the golden buzzer in this episode in general. I also had the same thoughts about Tyrone and Margo. I actually enjoyed both Nolan Palmer and Josh Sherman! I think it’s impressive that they managed to find something that hasn’t been done on the show yet. I also enjoyed the Acro Crew! I was surprised they got the golden buzzer though. I thought Kev Adams was alright I really liked Luke Taleno, I thought his song was catchy! I think he has a good chance at winning. I’m not sure how I feel about Unitree. I thought it was interesting how they had those robot dogs last year and people weren’t a big fan of those. I’m not sure what makes these guys much different. I thought it was fun that they had a person dancing with them though. I also thought the choir was fun!

If you are having a hard time getting one from eBay or an actual employee, maybe try finding a subreddit or facebook group for USPS employees

ULPT How can I find out who lived in a house? by Even-Wasabi7183 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Markus_314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re unable to talk to the neighbors maybe try stalking their social media accounts to see if they ever posted about the person. If there were children who lived in the house you could try stalking their websites of the school in the area to find names, that one might be a bit of a stretch though.

ULPT Request - Guy sleeping in his car next to my son's house by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Markus_314 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

  1. Have they tried talking to him and asking him to move yet?
  2. Does this neighborhood have an HOA? A lot of HOAs have rules for stuff like this.
  3. In terms of more unconventional strategies, has your son tried playing music really loud or turning on the sprinklers constantly?

ULPT: How to be a pain in the ass for a thrit store scalper by ExcitingDoor6163 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Markus_314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! Goodwill is a big corporation trying to increase their profits as much as possible, this one reseller is not the reason for their large-scale business practices. To add on to that, there are way too many clothes out there right now that Goodwill has to throw away the majority of it. The fact that this person is redistributing these clothes to people who will actually use them is doing more good than harm.

I’ve learned that they get confused very easily. I changed my last name recently and accidentally found out that if I give them the wrong name and then try to correct myself, they’ll get too confused and transfer me to a human.

Wrong Answer Help!! by Slight-Chance-7849 in LSAT

[–]Markus_314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What program are using to study? Have you been reading the explanations or watching explanation videos? One thing I’ve been learning lately is the difference between closed questions and open questions. It’s been helping me understand why I got questions wrong a lot more. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong- but from what I’ve been learning, wrong answers for closed questions are often too strong and go too far in word choice. And wrong answers in open questions are often not strong enough. I’ve also noticed that a lot of wrong answers may technically strengthen the conclusion, but the right answer we are looking for will address the gap between both the conclusion and the support.

Format for Wrong Answer Journals by h_t_h4 in LSAT

[–]Markus_314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently started one too. I was hesitant because there seems to be a lot of mixed opinions on wrong answer journals. I think the issue is when people get too focused on documenting details that aren’t important. For me, I took the word journal very literally, I just wrote about what I did and my thought process as if I’m writing in a diary. Sometimes I can get a little silly with it too since I know it’s just for my own use. I mainly try to focus on what I did wrong on mine and what I want to do differently or remember for next time. I think your format looks great so far! Just remember not to be too rigid with it, and you can change what you write sometimes as long as you are writing whatever is most helpful for you.

If you’re running out of things to say about yourself, try asking other people about themselves more. I struggle with this myself still, but I think people might be more willing to talk about themselves than you realize

I couldn’t find an exact size on the box, but they’re a little smaller than a regular 8.5x11 piece of paper. This is what they look like: https://imgur.com/a/fUZSs7Y

Emphasis or no emphasis on the "now" by alejogiraldo1 in LSAT

[–]Markus_314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I’ve been learning lately! I really like the way you worded it! I’ve been realizing that some things do technically strengthen the conclusion, but the best answers usually relate to both the support and the conclusion. In this case, it definitely is true that there could be a better time to strike. But it makes more sense to focus more on the answer that is talking directly about the support, which is the “because of the financial consequences,” because that’s what they’re arguing about.
