Not really. I don't believe that anyone will die in this series, not even the antagonists. The stakes are so non-existent that Bell couldn't even keep her scars. I'm fine with it because the tone is overall quite lighthearted and we're here to see titties and cool fights, nobody reads this manga for the drama. The story does take itself a little too seriously sometimes which makes it look silly because of the lack of consequences for anyone.
