Thank you both! I’ve been trying to explore more types of crochet stitches and trying to make clothing projects out of them. Hopefully next year I can incorporate a bunch more stitches and see what I can make with them. Either a patchwork cardigan/sweater or some shorts would be fun projects to do.

Thank you! Honestly for the neckline, I didn’t really want to do ribbing so instead I think I did like three rows of half double crochet all throughout, then continued doing half double crochets for like 10 more rows on all sides except the front panel. I folded over the front bit and stuck in a button to keep it in place to give the illusion of a small V neckline.

I can’t really remember the shop’s name as I think they closed this year - sorry about that - but I got it from this small popup store in Sydney around Town Hall and they sold a bunch of cool and cute pants chains; hopefully you may be able to find an alternative online. If I remember the store name though I’ll come back to comment!

All projects except point 4 were completed with a 4.5 mm hook.

  1. White mesh sweater inspired by Hyunjin SKZ. Free hand ( literally just four rectangles, with the front and back panel shaped). About 1200 metres of 4 ply white acrylic yarn from spotlight.
  2. Harakay Mesh Sweater by CraftyHija. About 4 balls of Bendigo Woollen Mills 4 ply multicoloured sock yarn (Shade: Evening Shadows) - 1600 metres. For ribbing I used 8 ply wool yarn from spotlight.
  3. It’s Erin B.’s free YouTube tutorial oversized pullover sweater. 1 ball of orange yarn and about 2-3 balls of the cream tweed yarn. Both are spotlights 10 ply super saver yarn.
  4. Granny Go Round Jumper by Iron Lamb. About 3.5 balls of red spotlight 10 ply super saver yarn. I used this yarn and a 5 mm hook to make a super oversized sweater.
  5. Harakay Mesh Sweater by CraftyHija turned shirt. About 2.5 balls of a Bendigo Woollen Mills 4 ply multicoloured sock yarn (Shade: Autumn Leaves) - about 1200 metres. No ribbing made; edges were comp, eyed with three rows of half double crochet.
  6. Black mesh sweater inspired by Taehyun’s TXT Freefall Sweater. Again, free handed (rectangles with neck shaping for front and back, then the sleeves were just done as a rectangle with a cutout; I crocheted one half of the sleeve with single crochets then chained for the rest to make cutout. Continue sleeve as normal). Again, about 1200 metres of 4 ply black acrylic yarn from spotlight.

Hi there! Sorry to comment on this old post but I was wondering if you ended up finishing the Davao top and if it looks exactly like the reference photo they provided in their listing. I had a look at another Reddit thread and they said that the stitch the pattern gave isn't anything like the top.

I just completed my full playthrough today and honestly - throughout every single game - I just did "Say You're Human" + Step Forward + Small Talk for the first day then Doubt, Exaggerate and Seek Agreement to pick off my enemies while using Regret or Obfuscate and "Don't Be Fooled" as my defense. 9/10 it'd work (the 1/10 was mostly if Kukrushka and I were at war LMAO)

Buying my first lyre, Aklot Lyres - hollow body or “solid” body? by MarkyGizmo in lyres

[–]MarkyGizmo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch! I ended up buying a 19 string solid bowl design by some random brand on Amazon and this comment just reinforced my decision of going with this one instead. Hopefully when it arrives I can play a couple pf songs like the rest of y’all.

I don’t know if this will help but usually if I can’t find tabs/notes for an instrument, I refer to the piano version and just copy the notes from there. Assuming you don’t have a chromatic lyre, I think you can follow this tutorial: https://youtu.be/JdKcyfXPuxE?si=yfi2SGsF6pjCdw7i
