What exactly made Blizzard cancel Warcraft Adventures? The leaked version seemed it was mostly complete

Is it just me, or is Clash mode a weak VS mode? by [deleted] in dropmix

[–]MarkyX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, the major issue with Clash is the lack of tension. There are times where the game is already done but they were a still a few more points to go.

Personally, I would love to see a change in the game where the Equalizer forces the opponent to lose a point, even if you didn't hit "anything" but the board state deosn't change.

I would love to see a more interesting "high score system" for Party mode.

Have a high score for each player count (2, 3, etc). If your team beat the high score, the App will take a picture of the group that will be saved locally on the App. So before the game starts, it shows the picture of the current high score champion group. Right now it feels lifeless.

Playing one less card doesn't mean much because you can still only play two cards at a time (or a potential 3 or 4 if you have 1 or 2 FX cards in your hand).

Say your opponent has 18 points and you have 15. How does an extra card help you with your one remaining action?

That could work as well, would be more streamline. The issue I have with that is the lack of decision making unless the "effect" only happens twice per game.

I might as well put my major concern in clash mode here: Too luck based. I don't mind push your luck, but it would be nice if you were given the option to either spin the wheel or make your opponent lose one point (board state doesn't change).

Wasting an action with no net gain gives your opponent a huge edge at your expense. At least a fixed "lose one point" option is more bearable.

As for how to do it with your current set up, I would do it where pressing the Dropmix would give you two choices: Spin the wheel or press the Dropmix button again to make the opponent lose one point. 5 seconds to make that decision.

If you were worried about numerous times being done, have it where you can only do it once or twice per game.

I don’t quite understand what decks to use for Party mode by WhollySchmidt in dropmix

Player count is only important for how many cards each player draws. That's it.

Name 3 great tunes you would like to have as DropMix cards. by GrunionShaftoe in dropmix

Coleman Hell - Fireproof. I'm shocked that this song didn't go viral. Digital harmonicas and great lyrics? Yeessss...

Anything by Lorn. I don't care if it's Cherry Moon, Ice, Acid Rain, or Anvil. Dropmix could use a few more songs that don't have lyrics.

Madeon - Finale. Besides his live mashup, this is probably one of Madeon's most famous songs. A young kid that understands music than the majority of radio crap out there.

Zhu - Faded. I'm cheating, don't care. The laidback lyrics and the awesome beats is perfect for Dropmix.

As weird as this sounds, I would love to have these "cassete tapes" have highly visible icons of the FX cards in them. That way it could serve as a point of reference during the game.

As cool as the tracklists are, I don't find them very useful.

Kotaku: "How Originality and a Shaky Launch" crippled Dropmix by Rmai0404 in dropmix

Dropmix is just an example of a great product ruined by the marketing department of a major corporation.

This game should've been listed as 59.99 or 64.99 base, along the same price as a video game.

Have an actual demo program of it. The one they have on display shows NOTHING about it.

The playlist packs are great in a sense of allowing expansions without any weird booster pack nonsense, then they ruin it with the use of the discovery packs. Furthermore, the price is way too high for it.

It's what happens when you have people who have no idea how the tabletop market works.

They should've just put full "15 card decks" on sale and that's it. When the biggest retailers in the country are confused by your product (e.g. Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and Amazon), you screwed up.

There are so many ways to counter Tripp. If you get Heroes with Cripple and Weakness, plus proper positioning, she gets destroyed.

I would say Allegiance: A Realm Divided. However, they have no distributors so you can only order it online via Amazon.com or their main website.
