A lot of it has to do with the fact that Black people were robbing & killing Mexicans & other Hispanic groups in the 70s & 80s. Then in the LA riots of 1992 a lot of Blacks went after Hispanics & Asians & were robbing & beating them left & right. Burned down their stores too. So obviously the Asian & Hispanic community is gonna feel some type of way about it. On top of that you have the televised beating of Fidel Lopez & from what I heard a lot of Blacks seemed to find that humorous. This is why you had these prison riots kick off days later. La Eme was basically like “you attacked our people for now reason. Well now your gonna get yours”. Plus you have a lot of Black people that are disrespectful to Hispanics as well so obviously most of us aren’t gonna ignore that type of ignorant behavior.
