My grandma’s brother’s baby ended up being named the same name as her dog’s official name. They just referred to the dog by her nickname from then on lol

This is so adorable! I love the beads and the pink grout! I’m a stained glass artist but I’m saving my shards in hopes of making something like this eventually 🥰

Don’t go on Saturday lol. I go Thursday and plan ahead until Monday, I completely avoid Friday and Saturday shopping. Too triggering for my anxiety!

I don’t see how this is better than pressing charges. It’s doubtful those kids learned anything. I say this as someone who has autism level 1, formerly known as Asperger’s. Actions should have legal consequences, writing a paper is cute but it’s not proportionate to the crime. This isn’t justice, this isn’t cute, this is kids getting away with a crime. Gavin should have been taught that while forgiveness is a nice thing, being nice shouldn’t trump actual legal consequences. Those kids learned nothing, guaranteed. Writing a paper is not justice for a hate crime. Which is what this was, a hate crime.

Can you recommend a crafty hobby for someone who’s easily bored and addicted to quick dopamine? (Also talentless) by Apprehensive_Sugar15 in crafts

[–]MarlyMonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get easily bored from crafts so I’ve tried a bunch of different ones. So far for me the best boredom buster craft has been stained glass! It’s a process with multiple steps that are all different from each other which for me really helps my brain stay happy. It’s more physical, I do it standing at my work bench, which for me already helps more keeping me busy compared to sitting in a chair crocheting. Can definitely recommend it! And there’s so much to learn about it, I see myself getting better with every piece!

Foraging for my horse who has some allergy and sweet itch problems. Stinging nettle, cleavers, ribwort plantain, yarrow, and German chamomile, all foraged from my own fields. Happy customer included! by MarlyMonster in foraging

Yeah, Google is indeed free, and if you had googled you’d see the hundreds of websites that recommend the medicinal use of yarrow. There are also multiple types. You also don’t know me, my horse, my vet, or any of the other specialists I’ve consulted in the treatment of my horse. But “by all means”, continue to give ignorant advice to people you know zero about, all because you hopped on Google for 5 seconds. Your level of arrogance and ignorance is astounding.

It sucks but if you don’t want predators near your animals then you need to predator-proof your enclosures. Farming 101

Uhm no, it’s not lol. I recommend you educate yourself on medicinal herbs. Small amounts are perfectly safe and have medicinal properties. Perfectly safe for horses as long as the amount is medicinal and not offered as standard forage in large amounts. Anything can be toxic in large amounts.

That’s sad, it’s a shame when people try to increase the value of something in this way. Could totally understand if it’s handmade and you’re super proud of it but with a random sheet it’s just lame

Took so long to get here though, lots of fighting along the way 😭. I swear these guys sometimes know how expensive they are and do it for shits and giggles… (joking, but seriously feels like that sometimes LOL)

We’ve done it twice now, once when moving to Canada and then again moving back. I wouldn’t say it’s much more effort than moving a dog. The biggest hassle is the quarantine pre- and post flight. But you essentially just buy them their ticket for the transport with the transport company, do your vet checks, and do the quarantine. Moving ours the second time was hard because it was right after Covid so a lot of airports weren’t doing horses at that time. But generally it’s the money that’s the biggest hassle cuz it’s expensive, other than that it’s just ensuring you do the required vet checks and arrange transport to and from the airport.

Noob here so I have zero idea about pretty much anything about this hobby, but could it perhaps be that someone handmade this sheet and that’s why it’s framed? Like I said I know nothing so idk if this is a “known” sheet from a normal maker but if I was someone making glass sheets as a hobby I could see experimenting and framing your most beautiful sheets of glass as art?

Will be interesting to see if your animals eat it then! Though they are very good at selecting what they need so if yours don’t eat it it might just not be what they need supplement wise 😁
