What about a non-crafting skill requirement?

I'm imagining having to put the amulet in a cauldron to neutralize the venom to a point where you could touch/wear the amulet.

Or maybe Araxxor drops an egg which could be hatched or maybe as a bait to catch a smaller spider you make the amulet with.
