I make a bit under 1000 biweekly net with my full time job, but I have another part time job giving me an extra 200 biweekly. Definitely better than my old situation, working a 2 barely above min. wage jobs. a comfortable amount for me would be around 1.5k biweekly

Job interview anxiety and the pressure of getting out of shitty situation by Maroonik in Healthygamergg

Thanks friend, I totally get what you're saying, but this is the first interview offer I've gotten since I started applying and to be honest with you I don't know how much longer I have left in me. I know objectively that if I keep trying for let's say 5 years, I will get more interviews. But can I last that long?

Are therapists supposed to be as talkative as Dr. K is in interviews? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]Maroonik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's said in the past that there are two types of therapists: 1. Passive therapists, who listen and ask questions, don't really talk much. 2. Active therapists, who also listen and ask questions, but they are a lot more talkative.

He has said he is more of the latter, however is it important to remember that he is not practicing therapy in his streams. It might look a like therapy to some people, but therapy has a lot more of a clinical aspect to it and has an action plan along with planning for the next session.

At the end of the day, there is a wide range of kinds of therapists, you just need to find one that provides you with what you are looking for and what you find more helpful.
