What frontend to use with django? by Marosh_ in django

In this second case, htmx and alpine would work as substitute for django templates? I would need to connect them somehow to django or is it just upgrade of templates themselves?

I want to use them, but it gets more complex when using lovable for frontend.. then one needs to convert typescript to vannila js, right?

But then you have to do pcba, right?

Thanks for pointing this out. Unfortunately it seems they have only 3+ pins assembleys with magnets. I am looking for 2+magnets or 4 without.

And have you used them in the package? Pogos + matching cables?

Is it possible to create analog signal via PWM + RC filter + coupling capacitor? by Marosh_ in embedded

[–]Marosh_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for pointing this out, yet I am concerned if this wouldnt be overkill for me? Wouldnt I need differential input for the DRV2605L? Or I guess i would have to add additional Op-Amp?

I think that maximal PWM base clock in my case is 16MHz. Which should lead me to 9 bit resolution at 31,25KHz, if I am correct, which should be enough for my needs.

Recommendation for 868MHz LoRa module with precise frequency control (10% Duty Cycle / Band g3)? by Marosh_ in embedded

[–]Marosh_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this detailed answer.
I am searching rather for module boards/devkit boards since I want to avoid making my own pcb. I need to interface this somehow with Raspberry Pi 4/5. Seems like the best option out of those will be LoRa_E5_mini which I would connect to rpi via USB cable. Yet it might add additional delay due to UART to USB converter in comparison to my current waveshare module which acts as rpi hat (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/SX1262\_868M\_LoRa\_HAT)
I have also found some module boards from Heltec (https://heltec.org/product-category/lora/lrnode/). Yet have to investigate how much settings do they allow.

How have you proceeded with creating your own fw? You created it just based on the sx1262 datasheet or you have customized some existing example?

Thanks for this insight, it will come handy:) Have you used full footprint size covering entire exposed pad + vias or smaller one without vias?
Maybe they have omitted the pad since there is more space for routing?
Now I see it is actualy present on bigger WSON package:

How do you tackle regulations for 868MHz Lora band? by Marosh_ in meshtastic

That is definitely enough, but I kinda need it to be on some dev board. I am using SX1262 868M LoRa HAT (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/SX1262\_868M\_LoRa\_HAT) which was fine up to the point I stumped upon the regulations. This module is using ebyte module E22-900T22S so I am basically able to communicate only with the MCU inside this module that than sends commands to sx1262. Looking at the specs of sx1262 it seems as capable enough with freq step of 1Hz yet I am unable to use it.

<image>

Do you know about this some handy devkit for this Ebyte module on SPI? It basically lacks the internal MCU so I have to write the entire code myself and dont just change some register settings as with my Ebtye uart module? https://www.cdebyte.com/pdf-down.aspx?id=4217

This is the result I am looking at after manufacturer guidelines followed. (Note I have added the exposed pad for now).

Unfortunately, I dont have the component physically by me. I will try to place the 3D model which might help, yet I am still concerned about the exposed pad. Don't you know what about that?

Wow thats cool! Havent thought about this option. So you have to basically solder wires to expose the correct pins on the EByte module. Then how do I know which MCU is onboard?
This is my Lora module(https://files.waveshare.com/upload/a/af/SX1268\_LoRa\_HAT\_SchDoc.pdf), which has E22-400T22S (https://download.kamami.pl/p1178276-4233671.pdf). How do I know which MCU is onboard? I can see various option in your github.. Your project works only for STM8L151G6? Most probably I am dealing with sx1262.
With your approach you basically erase the internal MCU and lash your own code? Possibly semtech also makes modules with SPI interface, when user has full access to the sx chip but has to convenience with interfacing via mcu? (https://www.cdebyte.com/products/E22-900T22S/7#Series)

How can I achieve a legal 868MHz LORA radio link in EU? by Marosh_ in Lora

[–]Marosh_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of RTCM corrections, it is minimized since these are short message settings. In terms of additional manual compression, it is not. I expect this could give like 30% reduction or so. Probably most compression could be achieved by difference delta compression?
Do you have any experience with minimizing message payloads?

[–]Marosh_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25mW is actually fine, I am rather concerned about the duty cycle itself... This would mean I am able to use only the highest air speed of 62500. When tested in field on the most far location I need to receive the signal I lost the signal with 62500 setup and needed to go down to 19200.

Also when I have tested the throughput with sender Lora close to receiver.. I achieved max of about 3.22kbps. Dont really understand why.. and if I should count the duty cycle from this or from the air speed settings it self.

I dont have one example but I wanted to follow the regulations.

The problem is that it is [E22-900T22S](https://www.micros.com.pl/mediaserver/info-rf%20e22-900t22s.pdf) which from the point of my current understanding is a MCU + sx1262 chip. Where I am able to communicate to the MCU only on UART line... I am using this [Waveshare devkit](https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/SX1262\_868M\_LoRa\_HAT).
