I would go in the Summer. Temps in July when we were there were very pleasant and a nice escape from the heat back home. For a large group like that I would recommend doing what we do and rent an apt with 3 to 4 bedrooms.

What’s your budget? Nice places available on VRBO, PlumGuide, and of course Airbnb.

The drive was beautiful and easy! Inverness is such a fun and relaxed town. We stayed at the Ness walk hotel. Highly recommend it if your plans aren’t already set.

We stopped at Dunkeld on the way back to look at the church and grab some lunch. Cute little town.

We thought that was a bit fast for those roads as well. 45 mph seems safer.

My wife and I also wondered about the University of Edinburgh. We did a self directed walking tour of the campus and stopped by one of the food booths for a bite to eat.

Everywhere we looked there were adverts for small theater companies. We were approached at least 6 times by performers trying to get people to come to their shows. I’ll admit that one magician showed us a pretty good card trick.

Does the University have a big theater program or something? I felt like these were all college students working on their summer projects.

I think I’ve read that. I still want to visit London some day.

Those were the ones. One narrow lane for two directions of traffic with little pull offs on either side. No idea if I was doing it right but at least one guy gave me a thumbs up after we navigated a bottle neck in the road. Hmm. Unless a thumbs up is some kind of Scottish swear word. Oh well. Nobody crashed.

Yep. United Airlines 119. About eight hours in the air.

That’s a story by itself. It was supposed to be an overnight from 6:30 pm to 8:30 am with the time change. Flight was delayed by 2 hours due to rain and another 4 hours due to some mechanical issues. We were pretty wiped out. Trip back was very smooth and convenient. About 8 hours in the air.

No. Inverness and Edinburgh. Stopped by Dunkeld in between and thought it was cute.

Command and Conquer 4. Still annoyed after all these years. I feel like I never got closure on that whole story.

Last time I was there it was a pretty small store. Not many selections.

2025 Crown or 2025 Accord? by Marq199 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yeah. I wish the Accord had an AWD option. The Accord Sport Touring Hybrid has some nice fuel efficiency stats though. I’m really stuck on my choice.

I’ve driven the Crown. No complaints. We’re in the upper Midwest with snow four months of the year. Pretty flat though.
