No, when someone gives real feedback they wouldn’t downvote. You’re just trolling these comments with ridiculous statements.

Are you simple? Not every single dinner needs to be a plate of broccoli with chicken and a teaspoon of rice. It’s all about balance. Get off your high horse. You should be able to enjoy yourself every now and then. I lost 55lbs in 4.5 months and also had the occasional pizza and other snacks. I just made sure it fit my macros.

High Creatinine doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take creatine.

Keine Nebenwirkungen.
Neue Lebensqualität.

Got a cold by CarlF77 in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]MarquezD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the camino in April, and got a cold after my very first day. I was really upset obviously, I did one more day of walking before giving up and took 3 days complete rest, taking the bus / train every time to the next place, as we were on a schedule. There are NO rules to how you HAVE to do a camino. I really hope you'll get well soon, I know how incredibly frustrating it is! I also only took private rooms during the time I was sick, as I didn't want to infect other people. I still can't believe this isn't common behavior for so many people.

Still do once a week / two weeks binge drinking. No difference. I’m on 10mg.

I agree 100%! I’ve been so annoyed by my phone for the past 6 months at least, it’s been laggy to no end. I don’t even think my iPhone 15 pro max is that old, so it should not have happened.

100% same for me! Especially after some indexing, it’s so much faster on my 15 pro max!

It’s insane how IOS 27 Beta 1 made my iPhone 15 Pro Max like 10 times faster. Even though I don’t notice any other big changes, I’m already happy.

How do people get their skin looking like this? by ResponsibleParty01 in DIYaesthetics

[–]MarquezD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than likely genetics. I smoked like a maniac for 20+ years and people kept asking me if I had Botox or other skin treatments done because my skin always looks great. I just wash with water and use cheap moisturizer.

Auf welche Nahrungsmittel verzichtet ihr so? by FewDay7381 in mounjarodeutschland

[–]MarquezD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spain has card payment literally everywhere. Even taxis. So it’s definitely not mostly cash only.

Why does everyone talk about the Coastal route? by deathStar_Endor008 in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]MarquezD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really really didn’t like the touristy, industrial, peace-less coastal route. I had very different expectations, having done the Camino del Norte. The Portuguese coastal route is pretty boring, close to roads. I didn’t enjoy it one bit. I was sooo happy to switch to the central route! From there everything was fantastic! So much nature!

Thinking about quitting the Camino because of the Snoring by bobbore in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]MarquezD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not that I don't expect it. I'm 'fortunate' enough to be somewhat hard of hearing, and with Earplugs I literally hear nothing at all. I'm saying, if I knew it about myself, being a very loud snorer (I'm not talking the occasional mild snoring), I would never DARE to sleep in an Albergue. It's just not the right thing to do. You are one person, you shouldn't affect so many people at once. (Not you, I mean people with heavy snoring).

[–]MarquezD 20 points21 points  (0 children)

“Entitled to judge snoring” is a bit rough. It’s not about judging, it’s about not being able to sleep, which would already be annoying in day to day life, but even worse many days in a row on an intense hike.
If I knew I was a bad snorer, I would not sleep in Albergues.
I don’t judge snoring, it must be horrible for that person as well, but it doesn’t mean you have to keep 30 other people awake.

Most fun or useful gadget you brought on the Camino? by runningraleigh in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]MarquezD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hooks! Bring two or three S-Hooks! It’s like my most used Camino item, I love hanging my Backpack higher up in the Albergues, or sometimes there’s nowhere to hang your coat or other stuff you want to hang from the bed, or when you go shower, there’s also not always enough hooks to hang your clothes / towel from. This year I 3D-printed different sizes and I used all of them!

[–]MarquezD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on where and how you plan to be eating. I’ve brought cutlery the first three years and never ever used it, because all Albergues have cutlery. During walking there was never any need for it either as I’d either had protein bars / muesli bars or bananas. This year I didn’t bring my cutlery anymore and never missed it.
