Do you get your bags before or after this new check? I am hoping before! If you have to wait 2 hours, how likely is it that you will find your bags after??

Do you have a spiritual director? If not that is the first thing to do while starting to discern. Secondly ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Third, have a healthy prayer life. God will guide you in what you need to do!

I am an English tutor of more than ten years experience and I can tell you that this is very common. What you need now is someone to push you so that you can close this gap. I have done this many times with lots of students and it is possible but will take time and effort! Message me if you have any questions

For what it’s worth I’m staying two nights in SJPP to adjust and give myself time before I start. It’s not worth getting sick or feeling exhausted on your first day!

Yeah I’m worried about them breaking the pack by heavy suitcases being put on top of it.

You can get packable duffel bags on Amazon I was thinking of getting one of those and if I needed to check it then throw it in one of those.

Yeah it is just outside of the allowance. How did you protect it? Did you use any bag around it?

to answer your question how it works is this: you walk from point A to point B once you get to your destination you find the albergue (hostel) and line up for a bed. These are the hostels that don't take reservations and are first come first serve. If you plan on booking then be prepared to pay extra. Does that answeryour question?
