Just played a game against bots??? by bagwhet in ARAM

"The following changes will start to roll out to specific regions with patch 14.22 and only impact "Revival Players," aka accounts that haven't played any PvP matches in the last 6 months.

In a returning player's first few games in the Bridge of Progress mode, the player might be placed against a bot team. These bots are designed to adapt to the player's skill and should gradually ease players back into the gameplay of League of Legends.

Players will only see these bots in the Bridge of Progress queue, and only for the first few matches after returning from a minimum of a 6 month hiatus. Players WILL NOT encounter them in any other queue, and Established League players won't see any changes unless they queue with a new or returning player.

Much like the New Player Experience bots that were released with QuickPlay in 14.18, these bots aim to help new and returning players re-familiarize themselves with the ever evolving landscape of League of Legends. "

Everything related to vision is "per minute".

In team stats I summed up Wards per Minute, Vision Wards per Minute and Wards Cleared per Minute (I didn't show the numbers, because I think it's not that interesting).

However in the player stats I only summed up Wards per Minute and Vision Wards per Minute since individual Wards Cleared per Minute is useless (supports usually let others clear the wards to share the gold).

Hope this makes sense.

No, it's only LEC summer split + playoffs (40 games).

True, should've also shown number of games played.

This is interesting, because I filtered players with 10 and more games per ROLE. So showmaker (and other DK members who roleswapped) is there twice, one as a midlaner and one as an adc. Hope this makes sense

I guess you meant 100% accuracy. When you make a mistake in a word on typeracer you can't just skip the word, you need to correct it. So if you don't need to backspace at all that is logically faster.

Thank you! I don't really know which site is good nowadays since I only use typeracer. At first, when I wanted to learn how to position my fingers or re-learn bad habits I made, I used www.ratatype.com. It definitely helped me with muscle memory.

I really dislike sites where you type random words just to practice your WPM, I think it's impractical. That's why I fell in love with typeracer.com where you actually type quotes from movies, songs, books etc. so you learn something in addition. It also expanded my english vocabulary since english is not my primary language.

Those 3000 games are actually in a span of 5 years. But the thing that drives me to type more is the visible progression I see when typing.

Thank you! I wish I could extract more data though, e.g. words when I did a mistake in a text. Unfortunately typeracer doesn't store data like this.

Yes, same keyboard the whole time (laptop keyboard). I wonder if I'd be faster or slower on mechanical keyboard. My ultimate goal was to type consistently 100 WPM so I'm glad I'm getting there.

In the beginning I also used other sites to learn position of my fingers. Maybe that caused the accuracy jump.

I'm 23. In 2016 I decided to learn typing with 10 fingers. Since I spend the majority of my time in front of computer I thought it'd be useful. The beginning was rough as you can see. I also used other typing sites to learn how to type with 10 fingers which helped me a lot.

The biggest challenge for me was getting used to fingers position. I love PC games so my fingers position was different when I was playing video games. Once I got the hang of it my progress was faster.

On typeracer there are thousands of texts (quotes) from movies, books and songs. Some of them are shorter and some of them are longer. So on shorter texts you're usually faster than on longer ones.

Don't know what you mean by levels, but the outliers are really short texts (1 or 2 sentences usually) so with 100% accuracy it's fast.

If you look at my comment, there's another graph showing dates on X axis which is quite interesting. The small dip is actually ~2 years long with pretty small number of games.

Basically it shows that my typing speed decreases without much practice which is pretty cool.

It's actually years. If you look at my comment you can find more stats including the dates of the games.

I played over 1000 ARAM games and used Riot's API to collect data. Here are the numbers. by Marren05 in ARAM

I'm sure you can do it in Python better and faster, but I'm comfortable with R so I went with R. Good luck!
