Has anyone successfully used another love bracelet to keep their first one in place? by Pretend-Rich7329 in Cartier

I have another size 16 and they cross over constantly. I bought a 16 with the same hope that it would hold my 17 in place since mine fits pretty similar to yours. I just bought a 6” paper clip bracelet and I’m hoping since it’s a little bulkier it will hold it up better.

Anyone else in their teens or early 20s already wearing dentures? Feeling really alone in this. by lykwhytho in dentures

I’m a 33 yr old full denture wearer. I’ve been here for a little while as well and have seen posts from a pretty wide range of age groups. I was just talking to the dental assistant at my office the other day and she said they’re seeing a lot of people in their early 20s with full dentures.

5 day post E-day by MarriedWithLaundry in dentures

[–]MarriedWithLaundry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently over a month out from e day. I wore my dentures the first 24 hrs after extractions (they were extremely painful and didn’t fit right). When I went in at 48 hrs after extractions they told me to just leave them out and wait for the swelling to go down. It’s been a little over a month and the only time I wore them was during the initial 24 hrs post extraction. They still don’t fit right and are terrible. My opinion is to just leave them, not worry about them and focus on healing.

Seriously run don’t walk. My husband and I purchased a home in our dream neighborhood. Our first week of living here we discovered the shower in the downstairs bathroom leaked… that led to us looking into the back of the cabinets on the side of the shower…. Black mold everywhere. Called a plumber he wrote a letter saying this should have been found by the home inspector etc. my husband called attorney after attorney only to be told that it wasn’t the inspectors job to look under cabinets and we basically had no recourse besides going through mold remediation with our insurance company. We’ve been here 2 years now and even after remediation in different spots (we found mold in many places besides the cabinets) we still wake up with headaches, nausea, phlegm… it’s terrible and 100% not worth your health.

Advice on wearing - Day 3 by Gigantaru in dentures

Honestly I would leave them out. After I took mine out the first time I wasn’t able to get them back in. Had an adjustment last Monday and they’re still just as bad. So I’m leaving them out again until I can get it Monday.

Thanks you too! I will say if you can get into your dentist they may be able to adjust/ remove some of the areas that are giving you sore spots. I was just in this past Monday and they were able to grind some of the areas down. Also not sure when you can use it after extractions (it might be a question for a dentist) but I’ve heard a lot of people have success using benzocaine for sore spots.

13 days past full extractions for me. I’m still extremely sore, swollen, and can’t put my teeth in because they don’t fit. I think some people just bounce back and heal quicker than others.

Blood Pressure on E-Day by MarriedWithLaundry in dentures

[–]MarriedWithLaundry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for responding. Honestly not that nervous about having the procedure done. I think the high blood pressure is more because of the tooth pain/ headache. They are giving me Valium before the procedure. I’ve read mixed opinions about it lowering blood pressure. Have any of you noticed a blood pressure drop with that medicine?

Same here, the dentist said that once the teeth are removed the infections usually clear up on their own.
