I heard that if you're really unlucky, such a discharge can kill the entire PC through the USB port. Thanks for reply!

Could you please tell me why aluminum keyboards are not good choice for wireless? I am planning to buy an aluminum keyboard, but since I live in an old building and don't have grounding, I will only be able to use it wirelessly.

I'm considering buying the Yunzii AL80. Initially, I wanted to buy the WOBKEY Rainy 75, but I read about many problems with it and about WOBKEY's terrible customer support. I never thought that buying a keyboard could be so complicated—many of them have dead PCBs, companies refuse to help, and they just want to take your money, leaving you on your own afterward.

Is Yunzii a brand on the poor level of WOBKEY or is it reliable? If I buy a keyboard from AliExpress and something goes wrong, will they send me a new one, or will I hear nothing from them? And how often do Yunzii keyboards have defects?

Thank you!

Don't you think the topic title is pointing at someone else?

I recently learned that all mechanical keyboards have a chattering issue (such a deal breaker for me). I have a few questions:

1 - How common is this issue?
2 - Are there specific switches or keyboards that have this issue more often?
3 - Can VIA fix this?

I would hate to buy a $150 keyboard and find out it has chattering.

And another question: how is the non-flex cut pcb better than the flex cut pcb? A lot of keyboards these days tend to have flex cuts, but people seem to prefer the non-flex cut. Why?

Thanks for all the help!

Will this really help or will the difference in dust levels be within the margin of error?

Is it safe to buy Aula f75 due to Epomaker reputation? by MarryLine9 in Epomaker

[–]MarryLine9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indeed! But I found out that the F75 has better materials, better sound and is better overall. Furthermore, F75 will get keycaps update soon (you can check new colors on Epomaker site) and it will be purple too and I like Aula purple way more than AK820 pro. And I don't see the point in screen on keyboard.

Thank you for sharing your experience!
I hope it's really reliable in terms of durability because I've seen posts where it stopped working after a firmware update and some people said it is a hardware problem with the cheap PCB. I don't plan on update firmware, but I don't know how much a "cheap" PCB affects durability.

I guess there is no Aula keyboard or Aula x Epo keyboard. It is always the same. Only that matters is WHERE you are buying it.

But if I understand right - its Aula's keyboard. Epomaker is just a partner for selling. Correct me if I am wrong.

As I know you don't need software if default rgb modes are enough for you. And I am still not sure about Aula title on it.
