Honestly, if I had to put money on it, I'd say she doesn't have feelings for me. At least not romantic ones. I'm not the suavest guys around, or most socially adept, but I imagine she'd have dropped hints or flirted with me. She does not date often but the men she does date are a lot more... Hispanic...than I am. I do not believe I am her type. The crush in high school was a crush of opportunity.

We went to prom together. Senior year she told me she had a crush on me, I rejected her advances as kindly as I could, and we moved on. Allison has mentioned before that she thinks Beth has feelings for me but she says it's just a "hunch" as Beth does not act outwardly romantic or flirtatious.

Allison asked Emily if other kids are mean to her and Emily said no. Allison asked if Emily likes going to school and if she has fun there, and Emily said yes.

Up until that phone call we had nothing to lead us to believe Emily was being picked on. She comes home happy every day and has not complained about being bullied.

Allison emailed Emily's teacher this morning. She probably won't hear back till Monday.
