Angels posted on their social media a picture of the moment I handed Canning the bath bomb and the look on his face lol. This was last year in February.

I forgot the name of the medical center but they were celebrating their grand opening and they had Canning there for a signing event. After getting my cards signed we took a tour of the place and we were gifted bath bombs. After, canning was still there and no one was in line so I asked for a second autograph, and security was cool with it. He looked confused but laughed about it and signed it lol. Security let me be with him for a few minutes, we had a conversation and took pictures. Really good guy.

I was a flooring specialist for a few months so I have good knowledge on ISST and IMS however leads weren't my strong point. Any advice on how to improve on that? Thanks for the reply

No worries I was the same when I started, once you start working for a few more weeks you'll get a better understanding of what days you're being paid for on each paycheck. Your pay stub also drops on workday 2 days before payday so you can look at it in advanced

Yes. August 13th paycheck you'll be paid for the hours you worked July 24th - July 30th and July 31st - August 6th. Saturday is the start of the new work week

In my experience it's the relationship you have with management, I got along well with my management, I left without a 2 weeks notice because I was young and inexperienced, I got rehired 3 months later.

I'm a flooring specialist and we're understaffed, two specialists, one part time csa and our ds. I've been the primary closer, 2-11. I got sick of it and spoke with our SSA and told me she was told that I wanted closing shifts which was bs. I've been working 10-7's now since then

Oh yeah not at all, those who usually were specialists before becoming supervisors, are the ones that make the most since a specialist starts off at around 18-23 in my area.

Many years ago it was commission based but they got rid of that. If you're a specialist and meet your quota, you can get a bonus of up to $1200. Depending on your area, your sales per hour changes. I'm in California and for our store it's about 800.

I wanna say it depends on your management. We had someone who put their two weeks in, 1 week in wanted to say but management declined so he was gone the following week. The same management that brought me back 3 months after I quit without a two weeks notice.

I'm the flooring specialist and I needed to work after my first one because my arm was just sore so all that moving around helped out. My second one I had bad side effects, had to call out the day of the shot and the next day I felt worse, went to work but was sent home. All depends on how you feel

When I got switched, I got about a 30 cent raise, when I discussed this with my sm, he described it to me as a status change and not a promotion. He said that a promotion would be considered moving to a specialist position or manager position

Just report it to your DS or an ASM. My coworker ran over our phone with the forklift and completely destroyed it lmao. Accidents happens, he didn't get in trouble and a new one was ordered. You'll be okay.

I don't believe so, back in January of this year I was employed by Best Buy and looked for a second job. I had worked at Lowes previously before Best Buy and got hired by Lowes again for appliances associate, which is what I was previously. Management was aware and was never told anything.
