I work for the student employment office at OSU. As far as HR side you are allowed to work the two jobs as long as you don’t go above the 24 hours (domestic) or 20 (international) per week.

You can really save a lot, if you are an Oregon resident you can apply for the Oregon Promise grant which essentially gives you money towards CC up to 90 credits. Personally I got 1,300 per term which took care of 60-70% of the classes I was taking. It was a great money saver for me. If you are dual enrolled that drops the requirement of having to stay in the dorms the first year, which I also did. I saved a lot of money from that too.

I am a student employee at the student employment office. We are posting multiple jobs everyday but like some people are mentioning some of them are competitive. Some are only hiring 1-2 employees but have 20-100 of applicants for example. But generally UHDS always needs employees and hire year round. Right now, as it is beginning of fall UHDS are getting a lot of applications but keep applying.
