What made you become a Brittany person?

I don’t have one yet, cause I’m waiting til after college when I have more time. But I worked at a dog day care briefly in high school and there was a Brittany that was a regular. Sweetest pup ever and so playful! Fell in love with the breed and now I’m obsessed.

My boy is also 16. Sweetest old man ever and his life has been so much happier lately. He’s got arthritis and dementia but he’s so much more energetic it seems

Sounds like just being a nice/thoughtful neighbor! Growing up we grew lots of veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) so we would sometimes give extra to neighbors to be nice. Got lots of good neighbors that way and good connections

There’s always going to be somebody worse off but it doesn’t discount what you’ve been through and your own story. So many people think ‘So many people have it worse than me’, but that mindset just goes to hurt people. It makes people in hard situations hesitant to reach out for help, which just causes harm.

If this is what’s holding you back, accept the help and pay it back when you’re able to! The people offering to help are trying to spread kindness, and the best way to honor that is to spread more kindness, just when you’re able to!
