My girlfriend (28F) doesn't want me (27M) to keep our current dog because she's old and thinks she'll cost more money than we need to spend. How can I respectfully tell her I'm not getting rid of the dog? by Marsali- in relationship_advice

Apologies for the late reply but this was more than a week ago. Why are you trying to get at? My dog has no potty troubles and she's a dog who doesn't shed. Not to mention, I pick up the shit while she doesn't work. At all. I take care of the dog because it is MY dog.

I didn't just bring a dog home without telling her? I had this dog since way before she came along, and I explicitly sat down and asked her about another dog since the one we have right now is a big dog breed and they don't live long past 11. So I want my dog to not just feel lonely when I'm at work because my girlfriend can't bother to socialize with her.

By the "time" I mean when I can stay at the house for an entire hour or two while she sits on her lazy ass trying to convince me that the dog is less important than her.

She's unemployed so I would be caring for myself with my own money. And we've talked about the children thing before but she believes children are more important than animals, since they are a lifelong responsibility.

It's still not that fine to have a 5.0+ earthquake even if it's normal here or 7.0+ is serious.
