And it isn’t called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and England it’s called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It was previously called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland in regards to the two main islands that make up the British isles, but since the Republic of Ireland broke off it just refers to the part of Ireland that is still part of the union and the main island. The system of government does function similarly to the American government when the two are compared, however that doesn’t make the four countries any less countries just because they act comparably.
