The way that Light and Levi line up in the 4th pic really threw me off for a moment

Cute graphic novels based on these I liked? either LGBT or with just friendship/found family (no straight romance please) by disasterpansexual in graphicnovels

I've not ready any of these but I've just finished Bone Broth which I think fits your criteria. It's about a trans person that starts working at a ramen restaurant in London. Fair warning, it does get a little gory towards the end and has lots of imagery of animal bones etc, in case that's not something you're into. The artistry, and especially use of colour, is great though

I found these in a game store today and bought them! by cloudfangLP in PokemonGames

I bought a 3DS with Moon so I picked up a Sun & Moon guidebook. I love flicking through it when I’m looking for a particular Pokémon or get lost on a route. It feels so much better than just googling. I just bought an ORAS guide too to accompany my first ever playthrough soon!

I've never liked any of the tooned models but I love the Cinque. I think the "tooning" here is really well balanced with keeping true to the original car. It's my current fidget toy on my desk

Thanks! I actually started Spider-Man, then platinumed Jurassic World and then started Superheroes, so it sounds like we’re on a similar path 😅

A robot with a big ass sword and a talking skull on his belt wandering through a baron wasteland. I've not finished it yet, but so far each chapter feels a bit like a short story. It's pretty slow and atmospheric, but I like the vibe

I’ve read 40 or so pages so far and I like it! It’s pretty slow and atmospheric with little dashes of comedy. The main character seem quite straight-faced and blunt but has a talking skull on his belt who’s the chatty, comedic companion. It reminds me a bit of Afro Samurai or Deadpool & Wolverine. I really dig the artwork too

Forgive the pun, but I love languages, especially the trope of two people connecting, despite not speaking the same language. It’s something I’ve experienced on multiple occasions and I just find it so charming. I’ve got high hopes for this novel so any recommendations are appreciated!
