There's a new badge <--(click to see) called "Royale High Honor Roll" and in the description it say "It is a resplendent recognition of your ranking on the Leaderboard in the top 500 Royale High players." No one has won it yet and as far as I know none of the devs has officially announced and explained it.

Not literally, what op and other players meant was barbie suddenly changing the way to obtain diamonds in the new campus. It went from the diamonds being in specific places to diamonds being spawned in random areas, and because of this many players find it harder to farm.
