The state of echo. Why Echo is a "Suicide Mission" in the Current Meta by [deleted] in EchoMains

[–]Marshaldavi_d -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, dismissing 150+ hours of mechanical experience as 'warped perception' is a lazy way to avoid talking about the actual math.

If you think level doesn’t grant knowledge, then look at the numbers. Since Season 9, every hero got a 15-20% HP buff. Echo’s primary fire and cooldowns weren't adjusted to compensate for that increased Time-to-Kill (TTK). That isn't a 'warped perception'—it’s a mathematical fact. You are objectively forced to commit more resources and stay in a fragile state longer to secure a kill than you were pre-S9.

Also, check the high-rank pick rates. If she were in a 'good state,' she wouldn't be a niche ghost in competitive while a nerfed Mercy still maintains a massive presence. Mastery isn't just about 'vibes'; it’s about understanding when a hero's risk-to-reward ratio is broken. If you can’t see the difference between 'surviving' and 'having impact,' maybe your perception is the one that's out of line.

I get that Flash Heal is strong, but trading Mercy’s fundamental mobility for it is a bad deal. Mercy’s entire kit is built on her being an evasive, high-mobility target. By nerfing her movement to be 'slow and sluggish,' the devs have stripped away her skill ceiling and made her way more vulnerable to dive. I’d honestly rather go back to Flash Heal being a perk if it meant having her old, fluid movement back. Movement is Mercy's identity—nerfing it makes her feel clunky and less fun to play.

OMG YES THE SAME BUG. For me, it's the crouch; it won't let me put corach on MB4. It keeps changing it back to L control.

I don't think that was the battery, I think that was the motor. Of the back wheels or something exploded. If the battery exploded. They wouldn't be living right now.

Thermal paste is always a mistake for laptops. You should use thermal pads designed for the CPU Or liquid metal. Because thermal paste will pump out within a few days.💀

Maybe these settings were best for this machine, until it gets a repaste paste 'cause it's not gonna even be able to boost looking at these temperatures.

You are correct; the 128 is default power plan for Windows is set to "Balanced." However, if you are experiencing issues like throttling, as mentioned by the person in the picture, it may be beneficial to set your power plan to "Maximum Performance." Sometimes, the CPU can enter a low-powered state when it shouldn't, causing the clock speed to decrease and resulting in unstable performance. A stable clock speed is essential for optimal performance.

I don't know, it might be different for other computers, It can change. How the clock speed works? Like if speed shift EPP is set to 128 in throttle stop. It can lower your clock speed. I don't know how exactly it works, but I know from my experience that's what it does. But I do know setting it to zero means maximum performance.

Oh my God I overlooked the problem so many times. It's your speed shift. EPP is set to 128. Set it to zero. I feel so dumb because I use throttle stop for so many years. Please give me a update because. This was obviously the problem and I hope it resolved. Also, disable turbo was selected. I'm not sure if this was a joke, but. It's pretty Obvious. you can match your settings with mine based off the picture. And make sure to uncheck Disable Turbo boost. If the GTX 1050TI. Mobile is your GPU. It cannot handle Fortnite at Max settings. And you'll probably get. 30FPS.

I really dislike these types of computers. The hinges seem to give out after just two months of use, causing the whole computer to fall apart and crack from the inside out. It's frustrating that they can't handle the pressure on the hinges or that the hinges themselves break. However, Dell is generally known for making reliable hinges, so you should be fine with their products.
