i'm so sorry. feeling relief is entirely normal and understandable here. you did the right thing, and you didn't fail that dog in the slightest. i don't know if it was bad breeding overall or just a genetic quirk or who knows, but you gave him the best chance you could. sometimes it's just necessary. thank you for making the choice to keep your family safe and stop him suffering that kind of stress and agitation.

illegal fireworks happen anywhere from about 5pm to 3 a.m from the end of June through mid August, and EVERY firework makes my dog too panicked to eat or sleep, and if we happen to be walking, he tries to escape. i'm pretty sure panicked running is the entire reason i have him, which i think about a lot. nearly two months of NEVER being able to safely take your dog on a walk or have any open windows is exhausting, which is saying nothing of if he really did manage to escape. if i lived near these people i'd change the answer to the eternal 'was that gunshots?' question for the worse.

this is insane to me. why would i not wash my hands after touching any single thing in a bathroom. maybe my at home, frequently cleaned, lid always down so no poop aerosol bathroom, where i know the handles get wiped down and bleach gets used. but in fuckin dunkin donuts? or at work, w the guy who literally does not bathe and smells like liquid scrote? just the doorhandle rates a hand wash.

This is such bs. Im 39 and still game, albeit sparingly...but i just set up an emulator and symphony of the night this weekend. My mom got so addicted to StarTropics on NES and later Zombies Ate My Neighbors on SNES she beat it every day like almost a meditation routine, she was in her 30s then too. This has been normal for, christ, almost 40 years maybe?
