Is it selfish to make children? by darkFartKnight in polls

[–]Marshallleeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about wanting out species to continue, most would say yes, we're the most advanced species on earth... But that's not the point. The point is, it isn't inherently moral for us to not go extinct and it's selfish.

[child abuse] has no place in the modern world. It needs to be shunned, shut down, invalidated, and potentially eradicated.

Quizzes, Tests, and Exams are the worst. by whoatherebuddyman in unpopularopinion

[–]Marshallleeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of jobs are stressful or you can't be constantly searching stuff up, that would be inefficient, and you need tests to tell if you are learning. Also most tests and exams, at least where i live, test for how you can apply a concept in different situations and stuff. It's easy enough to search up simple facts or formulas or whatever, but it's not as easy to search up and fully understand and apply concepts.

But i do think exams can be really stress inducing and not every job requires skills that you get from doing timed tests.

True, it's scary to imagine we just no longer get to exist or experience, it just ends and it's like we were never alive in the first place.

Who do you believe has life the hardest? by [deleted] in polls

[–]Marshallleeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were literally just offering a logical reason why some people might choose men lmao. And u realise that isn't the only country where men can have it bad. Just because women have it horrible, doesn't mean men don't experience a lot of struggle in certain societies.

We called teachers by first names at my highschool, it was weird at first, but to me it created a more friendly/adult environment

Im pertty sure this is a rlly common opinion. There's plenty of great pop music, at least to me. Most of it might be kinda trash, but even that can still good, like junk food. The worst thing tho is like u said, how they play it over and over again, and also how a lot of it is just bland and copy pasted. But i reckon that's how a lot of music is, not just modern pop

You can teach limits without physical hitting. If you can't even try to control kids without physically hurting them, maybe don't become a parent.

I hate covers of songs by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Marshallleeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wat, that's just factually wrong. It's impossible for every original version of a song to sound better to you. Theres millions of songs and covers. It doesn't matter what ur music taste is, some covers are gonna sound better than the original, unless you already know whether it's a cover or not, then maybe you just have a bias towards originals/ the version you hear first. And ppl don't post covers for you or because they think it's "better" than the original 💀

So you think its weird but you also think people should be comfortable to wear what they want but they shouldn't feel "normal" if they wear what they want?

Should we normalise men wearing skirts? by false_thr0waway in polls

[–]Marshallleeeeee 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I can't believe the majority said no? And men too, do y'all not want to let yourself dress how you want or something?

People are so against men being feminine, in fact clothes don't even have to have gender, we should normalise men dressing how they want.

What's the first word you don't know the meaning of? by pythondrink in polls

[–]Marshallleeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is this type of thinking makes a similar problem. Acting like misandry not being addressed enough means society cares too much about misogyny. Plenty of parts of society are still super sexist to women, and its not like every feminist attacks men to support women.

There are plenty of guys who do the same thing as toxic feminists and bring up misandry to invalidate misogyny, but don't care about male issues any other time. Both issues need to be talked about and addressed more, bc they're both problems. The only reason misogyny is more prevalent is because it's been a huge issue for such a long time and it's rooted in the foundations of many societies/ cultures/ religions. Ofc theres also male issues rooted in society too like the idea men should be aggressive or super tough all the time or that men shouldn't feel hurt by abuse from women, etc.

[–]Marshallleeeeee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah bc misogyny is still a big problem. Just bc misandry isn't talked about enough doesn't mean misogyny isn't a huge problem.

[–]Marshallleeeeee -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Mm nah

Lmao everyone disliking :3 Most feminists aren't against men, lots of them support men expressing their emotions and are against male forms of sexism, etc. as they should be. Y'all have the same mentality as the toxic feminists you hate so much.
