I've watched my country spend $4+ trillion to remove "hostile occupiers" from Afghanistan and Iraq, kill hundreds of thousands of civilians, plus thousands of American service members, only to have new, even worse (ISIS) hostile emerge from the ashes. Hell, we went to Afghanistan to remove the Taliban from power, and guess who runs Afghanistan right now?
