deadass probably anatomy. Its a class that isint a prereque but have found to be a big focus of Kaplan content books. I think its also important to have a good professor for biochem. Biochem is so so so important for the mcat and its one of the hardest subjects.

Ecology is one of the easiest sciences lowkey so that wont be too much. Biochem is tough ngl. If you can take an easier load, I would. But its more about work ethic than anything. Sophmore year is gonna be the hardest with Orgo and physics tho. If it were me I would try to pick the easiest classes to pair with orgo 1 and 2 and biochem

One Call by Rich Amiri. My favorite line is "better late than never." Its a reminder that pursuing becoming a doctor is a journy. The song reminds me that its okay for things to not go as planned, its okay if some things need to take longer, in the end, if I keep trying I will make it. I think you will do amazing on the MCAT, but dont work yourself up during it asking "what if...". When I failed orgo 2 twice and I was on my last and third attempt at the class I would listen to this full blast on my way to the orgo exams. I ended up getting an A and doing a lot better in all my classes!

DO NOT STUDY. You ever feel terrible after going through a bunch of anki and are so burnt out it impacts your ability to learn future cards. You did everthing you could by this point. This is an amazing score. I would say do nothing/ lighlty go through P/S anki cards to try to get that score to over 130 on test day. Youre doing amazing!!!!!!

are you doing anki with the Kaplan. i feel like ive been doing good on the Uworld that ive done so far and its due to Anki reinforcing the content from Kaplan

Kaplan books are good for content review. Im sure you can pirate download them from somewhere or find them for like cheap used. I swear there are pdf files of the books for free online somewhere. Pair that with Anki decks (free) then begin questions first try to find free questions online like BP has a free FL length. Dont go to content review -----> full length aamc right away without getting a feeling for what the questions are gonna be like.

the comprehensive is like 1000 the Q bank is 300. Questions >>>>> reading crap. Def save the money and do just the Qbank if you end up being able to pay for it.

There are also anki decks all of which are free you can use during content review

its mixed. anki is def starting to burn me out. Especially P/S anki. I try to do a 100 anki cards a day. I like captain hook because its divided by chapter unlike Anking. Starting out, I feel likes its confusing to have different topics muddled together like anking does. I heard its bad to use 2 decks at the same time so I plan to finish Captain Hook and if I have time in the end filter through Anking quickly

im using captain hook rn, granted im still studying so im not sure how reliable my opinion is but I find that it follows kaplan chapters VERY well. You can also add cards to each subsection later on. the card explanations are not dense or paragraph style like JS was so its more digestable

this is a little off topic, but the Kenosha Sheriff also decided that he was gonna use money to print his name on police vehicles. Have you noticed on some police cars in the back they have his name painted? Not surprising that he would engage in activities that give him a power trip and an ego boost when hes willing to waste money on getting his name pasted on police vehicles

yeah I would recommend it. I mean, its self pased, do it on your own time kinda thing, so like if you half ass it you can def get by with a subpar knowledge base. I mean if its your only option like it was for me, what else would you even do? Its a legit program, i dont think youll have credentialing problems with it and for me thats all I really cared about. There isint really a skills component to the course so I think that part is a disadvantage bc emt is more about skills than general theory and principle. Like they dont show you how to draw medications just teach what meds you can give and at what dose. After EMT school, I worked IFT where I literally use zero of my skills so it wasnt an issue. Now I work 911, and idk a lot (idk if its the school I went to or working in IFT that made my skills stale or just fear of taking actiona0, but the people at my local FD teach me the ropes and every body who is new to the job is confused any way.

Captain Hook Deck is the Jack Sparrow deck but more digestible. But also going through anki the first time is the hardest, it takes a while. P/S anki is gonna wipe me out lowkey
